Premier League table 2021/22: Latest standings, fixtures, results for gameweek 3 - Tottenham top, Arsenal bottom



Tottenham head into the international break top of the Premier League, boasting the only remaining 100 per cent record of the season, as Arsenal sit pointless and goalless at the bottom of the table.


The weekend begaN with arguably the match of the gameweek as champions Manchester City thrashed Arsenal 5-0 to heap pressure on Mikel Arteta, with the Gunners pointless and goalless after three games.


We then have five 3pm BST kick-offs: Aston Villa drew 1-1 with Brentford; Everton won 2-0 at Brighton; Southampton drew 2-2 at Newcastle; Leicester City got a much-needed 2-1 win at Norwich, while West Ham and Crystal Palace shared the spoils in a 2-2 London derby draw.


There was another huge Saturday clash late on as Liverpool and Chelsea shared a point apiece in a 1-1 draw at Anfield, with a Mo Salah penalty cancelling out Kai Havertz’s early header.


As for Sunday, Burnley and Leeds shared the spoils as Tottenham went to the top of the Premier League with another 1-0 win, this time over Watford.


Manchester United travel to Wolves to round off the weekend’s action.
